Classical Fusion within Egyptian Dance

This is a workshop in FUSION, within the classical Egyptian dance and the music from the Golden Era that gave us the star dancers Naima Akef & Samya Gamal, two of Egypt’s greatest dancers. All this will be presented in a choreography by Serena to “Saharet Ghawazy” from the best selling album “Flamenco Arabe II” by Hossam & Jose Luis Monton, Spain’s leading Flamenco guitarist. Drawing influences on the dance techniques of Naima & Samya, the Queens of the Golden Era, you will be learning new steps, various transitions and styles of performance that are dynamic and inspirational.
