Women Singers of Sudan
EUCD 1945
This unique female group of singers from Sudan, led by Salma Al Assal (who has performed with artists such as Ali Hassan Kuban and Mahmoud Fadl),
presents the traditional “Al Sabata” style of singing, accompanied only
by Sudanese dalloukas (clay drums). Recorded and produced by Hossam
Ramzy. Extensive info in English, German, French and Spanish.
