as a normal belly dancer and curious person, i've got some questions:
1) i read your answer about the 2 styles of cane/stick dance, one for saiidi songs and another for baladi songs, but it isn't very clear to me... is there any reason for this difference? are the same dance movements used in both versions? which one is usually performed by belly dancers?
2) i read somewhere that you don't agree (or something like that) with suraya hilal's style or ideas... why? it's just a curiosity, i just saw her dancing on a video and i wanted to know your opinion...
3) and finally: what is the thing about the sword dance? is there a specific rhythm or appropiate movements/songs/costumes/etc?
just wanted to add that i truly enjoy dancing to your songs... zeina and aziza are masterpieces that ALWAYS make me smile and dance with joy.
